Ms. Sandra Tonn, RHN, EPC Sandra is a registered holistic nutritionist; natural health journalist, editor and speaker; nutrition teacher; certified hatha yoga instructor; and an Elder Planning Counsellor. She teaches nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Vancouver campus, and has taught at many private institutions and community organizations including the Canadian School of Shiatsu Therapy in North Vancouver. The former editor of Canada’s Healthy Living Guide magazine and managing editor of Alive magazine, Sandra is currently the assistant editor of the non-profit magazine Health Action and writes for many national magazines including Good Life Connoisseur, Natural Living, Good Life Living Green, and Sea Kayaker. She recently relocated to the upper Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, and is living in Powell River, BC, where she continues her researching and writing and eats year round from her organic gardens. Sandra is a member of The Sierra Club of Canada and the Western Wilderness Foundation, and is a volunteer hospice worker with the Powell River and District Hospice and Palliative Care program. Sandra is also studying to obtain her vocational certificate in Thanatology (the study of death and dying), which is her latest passion and area of research, and is a student of Tibetan Buddhism.
