Mr. Bush has worked in the life insurance business for 39 years, with four different companies and two Managing General Agency operations.

While working with Sun Life, North American Life, and Transamerica, he has held various management positions throughout Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.

Roger worked with Commercial Union for the last 18 years until his retirement in 1999.

His stellar career with Commercial ended with a Senior Marketing Director appointment.

In that capacity he was responsible for twelve Marketing Managers located across the Country from Vancouver to Halifax.

Roger was also a member of the Product Development Group, which was responsible for the development of various Whole Life and Term products that included the introduction of Universal Life, Long Term Care, and Critical Illness Plans to the Canadian marketplace.  Roger had the distinct honour of being instrumental in the development and successful launch of Commercial Union’s Long Term Care plan, which was the first to be released by any company in Canada.

In addition to the many product and market related seminars that Roger has given throughout the years, he has also given back to the Financial Services industry.   He has moderated and given numerous continuing education seminars for the Life Underwriters Association of Canada (as it was known then, currently called Advocis).

Although Roger retired in 1999, he is still very active in the industry.  Mr. Bush successfully attained his EPC designation in 2004.
