Mr. Jim Larmond,
BHK., B.Ed., EPC 

Jim began working in the Financial Services industry in 1980, after experiencing many successful years in the Education field.   

In a very short period of time, he achieved the prestigious recognition of being a yearly qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table, an industry achievement.  

Jim has been very active in a variety of community and industry activities.  One of his greatest pastimes is hockey.  This is attested to by the fact that he was the youngest professional on ice hockey official with experience in the International Hockey League as well as the Ontario Hockey League. Jim still plays hockey three days a week.  

In the last few years, Jim has also been an active Rotarian and served on several boards.   

Mr. Larmond believes in working hard and playing hard as he enjoys 8-12 weeks vacations every year.  He is a world traveller and an avid golfer.  

He is regarded by his peers as a specialist in retirement planning, Jim enjoys working in the Retirement market and uses his advisory skills to help clients plan their retirement dreams.   

Jim runs seminars to educate the public and bring clarity to the choices available in today’s financial marketplace.   

Jim received his Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree in 1977 followed by an Honours Bachelor of Education received in1978.
